Return on Intelligence works with many InsurTech startups to build out product using Agile development methodologies, Minimum Viable Product structures and dedicated development teams. Clients range from InsurTech startups to SAP.

INVeSHARE is a FinTech software company that was a pioneer in blockchain technology. Led by serial entrepreneur Davidi Gilo, INVeSHARE sold for $135M  in September 2016 to Broadridge Financial Group (NYSE: BR).

INVeSHARE disrupts the shareholder communications market by providing broker-dealers with an innovative platform based on blockchain technology with advanced workflow, business processes and management reporting tools designed to solve broker-dealer needs at significantly improved economics.

Breakaway Solutions was the first Full Service Provider for B2B Commerce which allowed growing enterprises to capitalize on the power of the Internet to reach and support customers and markets globally. Breakaway Solutions offered B2B Commerce companies Strategy, Implementation and Application Management solutions using their THINK, BUILD, OPERATE™ model.

Jonathan co-led the initial $10M investment into Breakaway Solutions (NASDAQ: BWAY), where Mr. Kalman assisted the company through its explosive growth from 20 employees to more than 1,000 and an IPO led by Morgan Stanley.

Renamed Actua (NASDAQ: ACTA) in 2014, Internet Capital Group was founded by former Safeguard Scientifics executives Ken Fox and Walter Buckley as a venture capital firm aimed at the emerging market in business-to-business e-commerce, or B2B.

ICG held stakes in 35 companies when it went public. The investments included online marketplaces or communities, as well as software, infrastructure and services vendors. ICG’s business model was, according to Fortune Magazine, “a one-stock way to play the net”, and after the IPO the company had a peak market value of $60B.

Today Actua is a multi-vertical cloud company, investing in companies that bring the power of the cloud to vertical markets and processes, including Insurance.

Mr. Kalman was the former President and CEO of Jaguar Acquisition Corporation, a company that he took public via an initial public offering (NASDAQ: JGACU.OB) and later merged in a landmark transaction with China Cablecom, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CABL) marking the first foreign investment in the Chinese cable TV industry. At its peak, China Cablecom was the 20th largest cable system in the world.

ERisk was a risk management consulting and software firm, spun out of Oliver Wyman and Company. The products and services served over 18,000 risk managers prior to the sale of the company to SunGard.

Investors included JPMorgan Partners, aventic, AG (a subsidiary of UBS), Internet Finance Partners LP, Katalyst Venture Partners I, LP, and Risk Management Solutions Inc.
